Quick Stops Here and There

I had a bunch of RR's and EB's that were expiring today, so I did a little "here and there" shopping.

CVS - Tostitos $3, used $2.89 EB and $0.11 on gift card

Walgreens - 4 bags Deerfield Farms shredded cheese $1.50 each with in-circular coupon, used three $2 RRs = zero OOP

Pathmark - 4 bags Wacky Mac pasta $0.99 each, used four $0.75 coupons (Smart Source printables, I don't think they're available anymore) = FREE

A&P - $25 Shell gift card, used $10 catalina from previous deal = $10 profit

ShopRite

  • 8 Crystal Lites $1.99 each, used four $2 off 2 coupons = $7.91 ($0.05 bag discount) or $0.99 each

Later on at SR I bought:

  • 4 Marcal toilet papers $0.99 each, used four freebie coupons (5/3 SS) = FREE
  • 4 Marcal tissues $1.59 each, used four freebie coupons (5/17 SS) = FREE
  • 8 Crystal Lites $1.99 each, used two $2 off 2 coupons and four $1 coupons = $7.96 or $0.99 each
  • 2 Friendship cottage cheeses $1.64 each, used $1 off 2 coupon (4/5 SS) = $2.28 or $1.14 each
  • 4 Borden cheese slices $3.96 or $0.99 each
  • Got $0.10 bag discount, total was $14.06

Got back a catalina for a FREE box of Swiffer dry or wet refills

I've been trying to get the Crystal Light 10 packs for bottled water at Wal-Mart and can't find the lemonaid ones. I know the others are a better deal, but I can't drink 2 quarts. It sits in the fridge for a month or more!

Suz,

re-read that catalina and make sure it does say that the swiffer is free. Mine said it was free WYB a starter kit.

Shelly,
They keep a very long time in the fridge, just shake it all up and its good as new. I sometimes forget about a jug and then rediscover it much later on and its still fine.

Amiyrah,
Oh really? I'll have to check the cat more closely. That stinks!

Hi Suz,

LOVE the blog! I was going to ask about the Dr. Scholl's q's. I went onto Ebay to buy more and they're $20+ for 10! Is there another source I could get these? I know I would still make a profit buying them on Ebay, but not as much as I would like!

Wheat,
Thank you! There are a couple of sites that you can order coupons from: http://www.couponsthingsbydede.com/ and http://thecouponclippers.com/

Thanks for the reply. It looks like neither site has them either. I guess they were pretty popular (of course I'm a day late and a dollar short)!

Suz, how do you get so many of the printable coupons (like the Crystal Lite)? Do you have a special trick or do you have several printers? Do you know of more than one link to print from? Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated! How many Doc Scholls did you end up with? I need to get more yet...
Warmly,
Tracey c.

Tracey,
The Crystal Lite coupon was available on a bunch of sites - coupons.com, Kraft's website, Smart Source coupons and Pathmark's website, so I was able to print a whole bunch. I have a couple more that I may use up at ShopRite this week.

I bought 60 Dr. Scholls coupons from ebay and used them all! (blush) I'm going to donate the insoles to a local bank that sends supplies to troops overseas. :)

I also used to print coupons from home and work, but lately printing from work has been messing up my computer so I'm not really doing that as much anymore.
