Ya Gotta Have Friends...

This weekend was so much fun! On Sunday, I got together with a group of fellow hounds from the MSN Message Boards. Amiyrah, Beth, Nichole, Jenny, Ellen/saphira and Sandy/madisonsgmom and I met up for brunch at a diner in central Jersey. We munched, chatted, swapped coupons and goodies and had a wonderful time. It was so cool to put faces with names and spend some time with people I'd only known previously online. Everyone was so sweet and I had a blast. Amiyrah was sweet enough to bake everyone a yummy loaf of bread. My boyfriend and I happily nibbled on our pb&j loaf when I got home - thanks so much Amiyrah!

Acme - 6 Daisy Sour Creams $1 each, used five $0.60 coupons (4/5 SS) = FREE *The coupons all fully doubled to $1.20 each so I didn't need to use my sixth coupon.

A&P - they are running a fabulous double coupon event this week. $1 coupons are doubling to $2! They'll only double five $1 coupons in any one order (although I used more than five at the self checkout and they all doubled). There's also a great Kraft promo - spend $40, get back a $10 gift card. I've put the qualifying items in purple.

Saturday, Trip One:

• 4 boxes Post Shredded Wheat and 6 boxes Post Raisin Bran $2 each, used five $1 off 2 coupons (3/29 SS) and got back two $4 catalinas (one for buying four Shredded Wheats and one for buying four Raisin Brans) = $2
• 2 pouches Bumble Bee tuna $1 each, used two $0.55 coupons (2/22 SS - doubled fully) = $0.20 profit
• Total was $9.80

Trip Two:

• 4 boxes Post Raisin Bran $2 each, used two $1 off 2 coupons (3/29 SS) and got back $4 catalina for buying 4 = FREE
• 3 Capri Sun sunrise juices $2 each, used three $1 coupons (4/19 SS) = FREE
• Total was $4.21

Trip Three:

• 3 Capri Sun sunrise juices $2 each, used three $1 coupons (4/19 SS) = FREE
• 2 Hershey's Extra Dark candy bars $1.99, used two $1 coupons (4/19 SS) = FREE

This brought me up to $40 on Kraft products and I qualified for a $10 A&P gift card. I spent $2 total, so that's an $8 profit. The Kraft promo is limit one per card, so can you guess what I did?

Now I'm up to $23 towards my second A&P gift card.
