I am an Idiot, Part Deux

I can't even blame Twilight for this one. I got a full night's sleep last night and I still messed up. Sigh. A&P - I'm pickin' up what you're layin' down. No more catalina deals for me this week (unless I can find more Air Wicks). :)

Walgreens

• Colgate Visible White Toothpaste (4 oz.) $4.49, got back $4.50 RR = FREE
• Right Guard Professional Strength Aerosol Spray $5.99, used $2 coupon from yesterday, got back $5 RR = $1.01 profit
• Bic Bonus Pack Lighter $2.99, used $1 coupon (5/17 SS) and got back $1 RR = $0.99
• Used $10 RR, total was $1.41

I really needed these. Both my can opener and ice cream scoop were getting rusty and nasty.

• Can opener $4.79
• Colgate Visible White Toothpaste (4 oz.) $4.49, got back $4.50 RR = FREE

Now on to the idiotic moment of the day...A&P (are you surprised?)

• 4 Country Crock spreads $5, used three $0.50 coupons and one $0.35 coupon (4/5 Unilever or 5/17 RP) = $1.30
• 2 Wishbone dressings $2 each, used $1 coupons (5/17 RP) = $2 *I bought the right ones this time! However, this wasn't the problem...
• 6 Ragu sauces $1.66 each, used six $0.60 coupons (5/17 RP) = $2.80
• 4 Marcal toilet papers $1.09 each, used four freebie coupons (5/3 SS) = FREE
• Total was $5.96

Got back $5 catalina for spending $15 on Unilever products (Wishbone and Country Crock) = $3 profit. I was expecting to get back a $5 catalina for the Ragu...but DUH on me (again)! Ragu IS a Unilever product so it was all part of the same promo. $0.96 for all that stuff is good enough for me though -- I'm leaving this one alone and moving on.

Then I bought a Shell $25 gift card and used a $10 catalina off a gift card I earned a couple weeks ago.

Earlier in the day I bought:

• 2 Air Wick i-motion air fresheners $4.99 each, used two $4 coupons (4/26 or 5/17 SS) and got back $5 catalina for buying 2 = $2.32 profit (after tax)
