The air gets brisk, there's that crisp smell to the air, the leaves change colors...I just love it!
Shadow loves the changing of the seasons too! She was full of pep and energy this weekend and kept charging me, so most of my pictures of her are like this:

Da boyfriend and I took a mini-road trip to upstate NY in the hunt for foliage. Surprisingly, most of the leaves were less fall-like than what we had at home, until we hit this mountain. At the top of the photo, you can see the sun streaking down the mountainside. At one point, a town way out there was lit up, as if it had its own spotlight. Just gorgeous.
