Ahoy!

Happy, happy birthday to my hunny! Unfortunately, he's sick as a dog right now, so its not his fav birthday of all time. We're putting off our birthday celebrations until next week.
Walgreens - what fun! In one day, I was able to use 14 of the 20 Bayer Contour/Breeze coupons I bought on ebay. So...I did what any hound would do and bought another 20. :) The price is now $49.95, but that's still a profit of $80, so that's fine with me.

Thanks to a tip from pubbler's blog, I'm going to use the Chips Ahoy for a $20 Kraft/Nabisco rebate that's floating around. My good friend dancinmama is sending me an extra one she had - thanks again! Its for $20 when you buy 10 Nabisco crackers or cookies, beverages and mac & cheese cups. I don't have the form in front of me, so I'm not sure of all the specifics yet. Its called the Kraft Back to School booklet and its good until June.

One transaction - did this three times
  • Bayer Breeze 2 Blood Glucose Meter $14.99, used freebie coupon (10/25 RP) and got back $5 RR = $5 profit

lol, thank you! I know, I am a full-on-crazy-coupon-lady and I love it. I'm going to donate the meters and I hope he's better soon too! It sucks being sick.

I'm really tempted to buy some of the meter coupons on ebay because I'm jealous of your great deals! But I don't want any to go to waste if I don't get to walgreens enough this month. What do you think the chances are of CVS having another bayer meter ECB deal before the coupons expire??

Another question for you, considering you are such an expert in all things coupons!! I want to go to Riteaid today and get the stayfree BOGO. I have 2 BOGO coupons. So I want to get 4, obviously. I also have a 2/2 manufacturers coupon. Do you think they'll let me use that also? And if so, in what order should I give the coupons?
THANKS!

mb,
Why don't you scout out your stores beforehand and see how many they have in stock? Some places to look - pharmacy (behind the counter), diabetes aisle (some stores have them here too) and on endcaps. Because this is a month-long deal, I've seen a couple stores have meters in a display at random places in the store.

You could check iheartcvs.com to see upcoming weeks' ads to see if there's another deal at CVS. I don't know of any off-hand.

You might be able to use the BOGO coupon plus the $2 coupon at Rite Aid, but I have a feeling it might beep. I would try using the BOGO coupons first and then the $2 ones. That way, if the $2 coupons don't work, you still got everything for free. If you use the $2 coupons first and then the BOGO coupons, you might have a hard time convincing the cashier to "undo" the $2 coupons so you could then use the BOGO ones. Make sense?

Have you ever turned your RR's into gift cards? I have been doing that recently; throwing a gift card in with a large order and paying with RR's. I then use the gift card to pay for the out of pocket tax!!! Some cashiers will let you do it and some won't. You just have to get the right one.

Happy birthday to your Hunny. Hope he feels better soon!
As always, your deals are Awesome!! I didnt buy any meter Qs, cause the deal wasn't even in our ad. Guess I'll do a price check at the store, to see if its worth getting the Qs. I love MM deals. Our stores should be fully stocked, since the deal isn't advertised.
Did you see there's a $10 Naked juice rebate (jane4girls). You could use some of those RRs to buy Naked juice & turn it into cash.
