Walgreens - used a raincheck from last week to get this price on the Planters
- 10 Planters peanuts $1.99 each, used five $1 off 2 coupons (1/3 or 1/24 SS) and $1 Walgreens coupon (from Diabetes & You magazine, took off $10 automatically) = $4.90 and will submit for the $10 rebate (DBF's address) = $5.10 profit
- Walgreens cheese stick $0.59
- Used $5 RR, total was $0.49
At another store, I bought:
- 6 Planters peanuts $1.99 each, used three $1 off 2 coupons (1/3 or 1/24 SS) and $1 Walgreens coupon (from Diabetes & You magazine, took off $6 automatically) = $2.94
- Walgreens cheese stick $0.59
- Used $2 RR, total was $1.53 *Once I buy four more cans, I'll submit for another $10 rebate (parent's address)
Separately, I bought the York peppermint patty ($0.89) and the Reese's PB cups ($0.49 with circular coupon). I'm going to send away for two coupons for free bags of Pieces candy with this rebate (one at my address, one at DBF's).
CVS
- Dulcolax Balance (14 doses) $10.99, used $3 coupon (or 12/13 SS or $2 coupon in 1/24 SS), got back $5 EB (Limit 1) and will send away for $5 rebate = $2.01 profit
- Oral B Indicator toothbrush $1.99, got back $1 EB (Limit 1) = $0.99 - was going to use the $1 coupon in the 1/17 P&G but cashier wouldn't let me use it. The coupon is for a different kind of Oral B brush, so I couldn't object.
- Used $1 EB and $6 EB, total was $3.64
Sonoma 3/4 sleeve shirt $7.99, $2.99 after coupon - paid with cash
Sonoma shirt (blue) $12.99, $7.99 after coupon - paid with Discover card
Apt. 9 dress pants $27.99, $22.99 after coupon - paid with gift card that my mom gave me for Christmas
I love, love, love these Apt. 9 pants! I have about 5 pairs now and they are so comfortable and fit me perfectly. I have such a hard time finding pants that I like, so when I find a brand that fits well, I tend to buy a lot. I've slowly been buying these pants over the last several months. They normally go for $44 each, so I wait for a good sale/coupon/Kohl's cash deal.
I am also in love with the Sonoma brand at Kohl's. I know I sound like a commercial now, but the shirts are awesome. I really need some shirts for work, not more weekend stuff, but I couldn't resist. The blue shirt has butterflies all down the side, so cute!

EVERYBODY DANCE NOW! DUH, DUH, DA-DA DUH!
C'mon let's sweat, baby... Let the rhythm take control. Let the rhythm move you.
Thanks for the great posts. Your blog is so user friendly and easy to follow. I love it! I bought a bunch of the $5 Kohl's coupons last summer on ebay and got most of my son's Christmas presents for loose change! They have great toy deals!!

LOL at both of you! :)
mb,
Thanks so much! I try to explain things so that the most people will get the best deals. From someone brand new to all this to the experienced couponer.
Question for you... I did the Pepsi deal once last week at CVS. I think the limit was 2 but I only did it once. What's the limit this week and is it considered the same deal as last week in terms of limits?
-Monica
mb,
I think it might be a monthly deal? I'm really not sure to be honest. I would check your receipt the next time you buy something there. If the Pepsi deal is still listed at the bottom, its definitely a monthly deal and probably limit 2.
Is it illegal to use the Kohl's coupons? I just bought a bunch on Ebay for .99 and we went this morning to use a couple. But now I am freaknig out a little wondering about it.
Jean,
I don't see why not. Mine are all different and associated with different email addresses, so they're legit. I haven't had any trouble so far.
Walgreens
Accu-Check Aviva Blood Glucose Monitor 14.99 - $5 RR
Use $5 Wags Q from Diabetes and You magazine EXPIRES 1/31/10
Use $5 Q from 1-31-10 SS
Send in for 14.99 MIR (rebate form in Box)
Total = $15 Moneymaker
Gina,
I've done that rebate already, but you can certainly go for it! Sometimes those rebates don't work when there's a RR deal involved.
I second that. I've been burned more than once on meter mail in rebates because I bought them without spending any cash
