FEBRUARY PROFIT $7.57
Walgreens - had a $10 RR to use up. I figured the stores would probably be out of stock of the Thermacare before some of the other FAR items, so I picked these up.- Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves styler (or can get shampoo/cond) $3.99, used $1 coupon (11/9 or 1/4 RP) and will get back $4.39 (ESR #3, $3.99 + 10% bonus) = $1.40 profit
- ThermaCare Trial Size Neck, Shoulder & Wrist Heat Wrap $2.49, will get back $2.74 (ESR #6, $2.49 + 10% bonus) = $0.25 profit
- 2 Theraflus $5 each, used two $2 coupons and will get back $6.60 (ESR #12, $6 + 10% bonus) = $0.60 profit
- Used $10 RR, total was $1.76 - paid with gift card
Rebate in DBF's name:
- ThermaCare Trial Size Neck, Shoulder & Wrist heat Wrap $2.49, will get back $2.74 (ESR #6, $2.49 + 10% bonus) = $0.25 profit
WAG Tip - give your RR's before all other coupons otherwise you risk the dreaded beepage. I usually give RR's, then manufacturer's coupons, then WAG Easy Saver or in-circular coupons.
CVS - store 1
- 3 newspapers $1.50 each
- 4 Bodi Heat patches $3.99 each, used four $1 peelie coupons (on package) and got back $12 EB ($3 for each, monthly deal, limit 5) = FREE
- Used $6 EB and $9.98 EB, total was $0.48
The store only had three papers with coupons, so I bought my remaining three papers at a convenience store = $4.50 cash.
Store 2
- Loreal Revitalift towelettes (30 ct.) $5.99, used $2 coupon (1/4 RP) = $3.99
- Used $1 EB and $2 EB, total was $1.20
This store let me return the Smooth Away and gave me $10.68 back as cash. DBF and I used that money for lunch.
Store 3
- Loreal Revitalift cleanser $5.99, used $2 coupon (1/4 RP) and got back $10 EB (for buying two) = $2.02 profit
- Diet Coke (not in pic) $1.59 - bought b/c we were thirsty and counts towards a monthly deal of buy 3, get $1 EB
- Excedrin Vial (10 ct.) $2.49, used $1 CRT coupon and got back $2.49 EB (Limit 1) = $1 profit
- Used $1 EB and $4.99 EB, total was $1.12
And I've decided that I'm going to post my totals in my savings accounts each month to help keep me on track and motivated to keep saving. So here's where I stand as of now:
- Short Term Savings (goal $1,000) = $421.48
- Emergency Fund (goal $10,000) = $70
