Happy Valentine's Day! 2/15 - 2/21

HOLIDAY WEEKEND ALERT - Sniff, sniff. There are no coupons coming out in Sunday's paper because of the holiday. Sniff.

REMINDER - thanks to Precious' awesome posts, I was reminded that stamps are going up to $0.44 in a couple months so now's the time to stock up on Forever stamps. I love buying stamps using my RR's at Walgreens or EB's at CVS. Works for me - I buy the stamps with another item and I've never had a problem. Most RR's (and I think EB's too) say they exclude stamps, but I've found if I buy another item, the RR "attaches" to that other item, not the stamps. The second item can be something really cheap too.

Thanks for your kind words. That's why I am stockpiling those $ 6.00 RR's. Hoping to be able to use them for stamps!

So sad that there aren't going to be coupons this weekend. I guess I'll save some money since I won't have to stock up on newspapers :)

Precious,
That sounds like an excellent idea to me!

Tanya,
I know, I always get a little sad when its a coupon-less weekend. I know I'm going after the CVS Coke deal, but not much else is looking great at the moment. It might be a very quiet weekend.

No coupons because of Valentine's Day?? I can understand Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, but VALENTINE'S DAY???!! Thanks for the warning. *sniff, sniff*

I don't know what is scarier, no coupons or that cat.

Steph,
lol, I think he's kinda cute!

Oops, sorry forgot about President's Day but it's still a silly reason to not have coupons! I think the cat looks like she grinning.....like he just ate the family's hamster!

I have a question - I already printed some $1 coke coupons, and now I am trying to get the codes up enough to get a BOGO before this sale is over. What has been your experience with using a $ off and a BOGO together, one for each item? That would make your cost $7.50, so a $2.50 MM on 6 12-packs. For that I would buy the diet & just give it all to my dad :)

Sarah,
Ooh - good idea! I've been able to use $ off and BOGO coupons together at CVS with no problem. BUT...I have had trouble with the BOGO coupon specifically at CVS before. For whatever reason, the last time I tried to use it there, it would always beep. I think CVS may have had the Coke barcodes incorrect in their system, because I've used the coupons at other stores. I hope you don't run into this problem too. Good luck!

do you mind if I link up to you on the drugstore deals? I really like how you list all three in the same post and then how you have the current rebates listed at the bottom- It keeps it really simple!

I would list 1-3 deals for each store and then refer people back to your original post

Tosha,
Sure, that sounds fine. :)

Suz,

you forgot about the free old spice deodorant at Rite Aid. It's free after the 1.00/1 coupon from 12/28PG. If you only got the 1.00/2 coupon, then they're .49 each.
