Hair Color Everywhere...

And none in my shade...

Walgreens
  • 2 Loreal Excellence Creme Hair Colors - clearanced to $3.59 each, used two $2 coupons (1/11 RP) and $5 off 2 WAG coupon (Easy Saver book) = $1.82 profit
  • Forever stamps $8.40
  • Ensure 6 pack $6.99, used $3 coupon and will submit for Try Me Free rebate (at my parents' address) = $3 profit
  • Used $6 RR, total was $5.07

Used up one of my WAG gift cards today and the other is at $1.18 - eek! How did that happen so fast? Its only 2/12!

And while I'm on the subject of Walgreens, will my rebates for February ever clear? I know lots of folks are having this same issue, but its annoying. I like to make sure I bought the correct products but at this rate, we'll be into April before I know for sure.

Good idea to use overage for stamps!

Can you maybe exchange the hair color once they get your shade in?

You could always sell the haircolor on eBay....

Amiyrah,
Because of the profit of course! That helped knock down the cost of the other items.

Tracey,
Exactly! :)

Lisa,
They were clearanced shades, so I'm not sure I can do an exchange. No worries, I'll just donate them or...

Angie,
Great idea! I'll check that out and see if they're worth anything. Thanks!

I am kinda wondering about my rebates too they have not yet cleared and it got me a little worried also. I wish I could find some haircolor clearanced at our WAG I need to color my hair since I just got it all chopped off.

Stephanie,

Did you get that email from Walgreens? They emailed me saying they were sorry for the delays, blah blah blah and that the rebates should be clearing within 5-7 days.
