That's a lotta junk food!

Walgreens
1st Transaction
  • 4 Special K bars $10, used three $1 coupons = $7
  • 6 Pop Tarts $10, used two $1 off 2 coupons (8/3 RP) = $8
  • Total was $17, used up gift card for $6.40 and paid rest with cash
  • Got back $10 RR ($5 for Special K and $5 for Pop Tarts) and will submit for $10 rebate (8/3 RP) = $3 profit

2nd Transaction - different store

  • 4 Nutri Grain bars $10, used two $1 off 2 coupons (8/3 RP) = $8
  • 5 Rice Krispie treats (I really wish they would have had just ONE more box, then I could have used another coupon) $10, used two $1 off 2 coupon (8/3 RP) = $8
  • 1 Pop Tart $2
  • Total was $18.70
  • Got back $10 RR and will submit for $10 rebate (8/3 RP) = $1.30 profit

ShopRite

  • 4 Ken's dressings $4, used two $1 off 2 coupons (8/3 SS) = $2
  • At another store, 4 more dressings plus tortillas = $3.50

RiteAid

  • I FINALLY found a store that has Olay face wash in stock. I bought a wash on Sunday for $7.49 and it didn't qualify for the rebate. This one should - got my fingers crossed! :)

CVS

  • CVS trial size hand sanitizer $0.99, used $2 CVS skincare coupon = $1.01 profit
  • 3 bags CVS popcorn $1.19 each
  • 10 J&J bath buddies $0.99 each, used $1 coupons = FREE
  • Coupons used: $2 off $10, $2 skincare
  • Total was $0.73

Target

  • 3 bags shredded cheese $6

how do you have so many of those J&J coupons still? I printed out the max number (I think it was 4) and I've been out for weeks.

Melissa,
I received tons of these coupons from other hounds on the message boards. :)

Frugalsuz: You are soooo lucky!! My Walgreens would not print $10 in RR for the 10 products of Kellogg's and I even did the exact same transaction as you. I guess our registers were programmed to only do the one RR per purchase!! Rats!

Lillie,
That stinks that your RR's didn't print. Were they able to override that or give you a gift card or something in the store to make up for it? If not, it might be worth calling corporate about.
