Jersey Shore

I spent the last several days at the NJ shore. It always amazes me how beautiful the ocean is. My family has gone down to the shore every year for almost 15 years, but I never get over how relaxing and beautiful the sound of the ocean is. I always hate to leave!

Those photos are beautiful. I wish I could have snuck off with you.

Thanks! :) I really didn't want to come home. Being by the ocean is so relaxing, although I got myself a pretty good sunburn so my skin at least was happy to come home. :)

Love that sunset view. Where on shore did you go? We were planning to go to Cap May in October (dbf's bday) but if you know of any other good place I'd love some suggestions.

Jenny,
My family has always gone to North Wildwood. Cape May is really close to this area. Its exit 4 off the Parkway and a little more mellow and relaxed than Wildwood. We went on a dolphin watching tour with Captain Schumann and had a great time: http://www.planetware.com/wildwood/captain-schumanns-boat-rides-us-nj-919.htm. We went at sunset and it cost around $60 for two of us and they gave us a free bottle of wine! :)

Thank you Susan, we'll try to stop by there when we're in the area. We'll only go for couple of days but dolphin watching sounds great!
