Wow, that is really incredible!! What's the secret to your success? I'm guessing that it really helps that you do multiple mail in rebates. When you submit multiple rebates to different addresses do you submit them all in your name? Or do you use you BF/Parents name? Thanks for sharing all your deals with us!

Frugal Suz, how and where do you buy rebates? How did you find out about these rebates? Thanks for your help

WOW, amazing totals...rebates, over $4300?!? Mine were 1/10 of that, LOL but I will be doing more rebates this year. I don't like PAYING for them ...although I did buy the $5/$25 Coors Light GC ones ;) Thanks for the inspiration!

Suz,

Do you use a spreadsheet? I would love to start tracking since it is the beginning of the year. Can you please advise how to start? Great job, btw!!

Jamie,
No secret, I post what I buy on my blog. I just try to make the most of moneymakers and rebates throughout the year. I use my name at my parent's address but use my boyfriend's name at his. He cashes the checks for me.

Barbara,
Ebay my friend! I heard them mentioned on various message boards and did some research. They are amazing!

slugmama,
Thanks! I'm very thankful that I'm able to do these rebates.

Thanks rsgtarte and Deb!

Sheila,
I don't like paying for them either, but in the end, its worth it. I use the money I make from selling stuff online to pay for them anyway.

Fran,
I sure do! If you email me at frugalsuz@hotmail.com, I'll be happy to send you a copy of what I use.

You ROCK.

Do you track ALL your expenses? Gas, eating out, etc? I've been doing that for a few years and it's an eye opener! Can't believe what I was spending on pop (soda here in WI...LOL).

If people only realized how easy it is to get the free toothpaste and stuff - to save even a quarter of their budget, they'd do it in a minute!

Love hearing of all your deals - please keep up the nice work!

Hi! I'm blown away be these #'s. This inspires me to keep couponing & searching for deals. I really need to start tracking my savings/spending!! Do you add in tax? I'm not sure if I should include tax in my oop total....would like your thoughts!!

Mary,
I track just my grocery items (food, toiletries, household items) but I charge almost everything I buy so I can get credit card rewards. Every once and a while, I take a look at what I'm spending in various categories. Its usually pretty depressing!

Thanks so much Stephanie and Lori!!

Kerri,
Thanks! Any little bit of savings helps, we all do what we can. Since I have to pay tax, I always calculate it into my OOP costs.
