This was the view from my balcony earlier in the week. The snow always builds up in drifts on my balcony and usually doesn't completely melt until the spring. I take my patio furniture inside before the winter really kicks in because once we get a good storm, I can't open the screen door to even attempt to get out there.
Mousse loves to sit in front of the door and watch the snow shift around. He'll jump up on the door and poke the snow, then jump back in surprise when it has the nerve to move. He was being camera shy this day, but I wanted to post this shot anyway to give you a little perspective.
Would...you...look...AT...THIS!?!?
This is the view I got when I opened my door this morning. There's barely any sunlight even getting through!

Are you serious?! You got that much snow!! Please stay safe if you have to go out.
Oh YUCK!!
Wait why did I move south (from CT), again? Why was it? Hmmmm.
This winter we've gotten several feet of snow here in SW Virginia instead of our normal couple of inches. Mud season (spring) must be coming soon! Please!
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Hurry up SPRING!!!
Sunnie
Not going to lie...I'm a little jealous! Summer is my favorite, but there's nothing like being snowed it.
HOLY COW!!! That's enough snow for a decade. And here I've been complaining because we are getting about 3-6 inches a week.
This is snow that's drifted into this area. We probably got a foot or so of snow, but the balcony is just crazy!
Wow! That's a lot of snow!
