Deluge of Dairy...and pads

Rite Aid
  • 8 Stayfree pads (18 - 24 count) $3.99 each, BOGO sale and used four BOGO coupons (6/28 SS) = FREE
  • 2 Lipton Diet Green Tea jugs $2.99 each
  • Used $5 off $25 coupon, total was $1.40
I'm hoping the Stayfree plus the ones I bought previously will qualify me for a $25 RA gift card (SCR #160). If so, it would be a $25 profit. I'll enter my receipts today and see what the website says.

My cashier was an adorable older woman who had her considerable mass of hair piled up into a messy bun on the absolute top of her head. That just doesn't seem comfortable! She didn't bat an eye over my coupons though, so she's allright in my book.

ShopRite - bought the cheese over the past two days. Its limit 4 per variety
  • 4 Bumble Bee tuna pouches $1 each, used four $1 coupons (6/14 SS) = FREE
  • Poise pads $3.39, used freebie catalina = FREE
  • 20 bags SR shredded cheese $0.99 each (four day price break) = $19.80
  • 4 Breakstone sour creams $0.99 each
  • SR grated parmesan cheese $2.99 - wouldn't normally go for this price but I'm totally out
  • 4 Great Lakes chunk cheeses $1.49 each
  • Got $0.10 bag discount, total was $32.61

I was out of mozzarella cheese, so this deal came at a great time. And I'm sure you are absolutely, positively shocked to see me go overboard and buy so much cheese. I'm flabbergasted myself. My freezer is once again stocked with cheese and all is right with the world. :p

A&P - had a $4 raincheck to use up
  • 2 Turkey Hill ice creams $2.99 each - thought they were $1.88 but it was one of those deals where you have to spend $25 to get the special price
  • Used $4 raincheck and got $0.02 bag discount, total was $1.96

OMG, so you can freeze the shredded mozz????? Wow, if so , then I must pick some up! I'll pick up one or two when they go on sale...but perhaps I'll take a walk to shop rite (I normally drive, but today is the town's 4th of July festitivies, and it's right by my house, so that means the car stays parked!). Wow! I'm sooo excited!

I got the Stayfree no problem at the first Rite Aid I went to and then got harassed by the same chick who harrassed me when I went to the other Rite Aid when I had Mentos coupons that made them free.

The woman at the first Rite Aid encouraged me to come back before the sale was over on Saturday so guess where I'm going to get more ; )

What great deals you got! Don't you just love it when you get an agreeable cashier? It makes it so much nicer to shop!

spaghetti,
Oh yes! You can also freeze chunks of cheese too. :)

Queenbuv3,
The same thing happened to me! I bought my first order of 12 pads, then went back to the same store for two more. I should have bought something little, because my total ended up zero. The cashier had to call over a manager, and he wouldn't let me use the coupon. I went to another store to use the rest of the coupons and it was fine. I hate stuff like that where the cashier may or may not let you do it.

I don't understand how you get it free with the BOGO sale and using the BOGO Q?

Precious,
Thanks! :)

Kathleen,
Its one of those YMMV/your management may vary deals, meaning some cashiers won't let you do it. Basically your coupon gives you one for free and the store sale gives you the other for free. Its like they cancel each other out.

Jamie,
LOL! I'm not sure if that's really a good thing or not! That's too funny
