The Sky Is Falling!

I asked Customer Service at A&P whether or not I could get a raincheck for the Viva paper towels since my store has been out of them all week. The manager checked in the back to see if they had any lurking in the back and he came back with terrible news. The single rolls of Viva paper towels are being discontinued! Ay dios mio! Whatever will we do? I decided to use up my three remaining coupons at ShopRite instead.

ShopRite

• 2 Bumble Bee albacore tuna pouches $1 each, used two $1 coupons (6/14 SS) = FREE
• 3 Viva paper towels $2 each, used three $0.85 coupons (6/28 SS) = $0.90 or $0.30 each
• 4 Hefty One Zip Bags $1.19 each, used four $1 coupons (5/17 RP) = $0.76 or $0.19 each
• 2 Colonna Parmesan grated cheese $0.99 each
• 4 Friendship Sour Creams $1.29 each, used two $1 off 2 coupons (6/28 SS) = $3.16 or $0.79 each
• 12 Yoplait yogurts $0.50 each, used two $0.40 off 6 coupons (5/31 SS) = $4.40 or $0.36 each
• Total was $11.43

CVS

• Gillette Fusion Manual or Power Razor $7.99, used $4 coupon (6/7 P&G) and got back $4 EB (Limit 1) = FREE/$0.01 profit
• Used $2.97 EB, total was $1.32

A&P

• 3 Old Orchard Healthy Balance juices $1.66 each, used three $0.50 coupons (5/10 SS) = $0.48 or $0.16 each
• Total was $0.74

Last month, I had gone for an eye exam and didn't realize my vision insurance changed at work, so I got a bill for $130 from the doctor. I called the office and explained what happened, and they re-ran my bill through the correct insurance. I had paid $40 as a copay and it turns out, the copay on the new plan is only $10 and my bill was fully covered. Yay! I got a check back for $30 yesterday, which was very nice.
