Bagel Anyone?

Stop & Shop - I just love these gas card deals!
  • 16 Lenders Bagels $1.50 each, qualified for $28 gas discount ($0.20 off per gallon for every 4 bagels x 35 gallons) = $4 profit
  • 7 Quaker Mini Cakes $1.25 each, used two $1 off 2 coupons and qualified for $7 gas discount ($0.20 off per gallon for every 7 bought x 35 gallons) = $0.25 profit
  • Seedless Grapes $0.88 lb with in-circular coupon (and additional $25 purchase) = $2.22
  • 3 S&S Cream Cheese $2.99 each
  • Total was $41.94 - $6.94 cost for everything!
There's a fantastic catalina promotion running on Kraft items from 8/19 - 9/15.  You get $2 when you buy 3 - 5 qualifying items, $5 when you buy 6 - 9 items or $10 when you buy 10+ items.  Here's a list of all the items that work for the promo.  I got a printout at S&S about this promo, but it will probably work at other stores too.  And valid until 9/15?  Lots of time for some great deals!

Yup - definitely other places too.  The Saratoga Saver just reported its working at Price Chopper.  This is going to be fun!

What's your strategy to get the 35 gallons of gas? The tennant watches cars like hawks where I pump!

mel,
Luckily we haven't had any issues. We fill up my car and then I pull that into a spot while DBF holds the pump, then we fill up the truck. We usually go at night though.
