A Case of the "Mundays"

Price Chopper - they're doing triple coupons again this week!  You have to spend $15 and use the circular coupon to triple your manufacturer's coupons (limit 3).  I figured I'd buy Land 'o Lakes butter using the $1 coupon (4/29 SS) since these were really cheap last week with triples and I never got a chance to pick them up.  WRONG!  They're $5.39 so with the triple coupon, $2.39.  I didn't really want to spend that much, but foolishly, I hadn't brought any other plans/coupons with me.  So I put back the items I'd bought to get me to $15 and just got the Pantene. Sigh, Mondays.

• 4 Pantene Sham/Cond $3.33 each, used two BOGO coupons (4/29 P&G) and $3 off 2 coupon (5/13 P&G) and got back $5 catalina (WYB $15 of select items) = $1.34 profit
• Yuengling Beer (24 pk) $15.99 with in-circular coupon
• Total was $23.23

Got a coupon from the catalina printer for $1.50 off my next purchase of $25.  I've heard that some folks received a $2 coupon for a $9.99 beauty(?) purchase but I wasn't so lucky.  I'll use the Pantene towards $10 P&G rebate (WYB $50).

ShopRite

• The Good Cook mini-muffin pan $9.99
• 2 Reynolds mini baking cups $1.39 each
• 2 SR Flour $1.99 each
• Wilton jumbo baking cups $1.99
• Cheese cloth $2.39
• Pepperidge Farm ginger bread candle $1.50
• Used two $10 catalinas, total was $3.50 with $0.10 bag discount

I wasn't sure I'd be able to use two $10 cats in the same order, so I had a game plan in mind for splitting up the purchases if the cats beeped.  But they went through without a problem.  They did beep, but I'm pretty sure that was just because they were for a big amount.

At another store, I got -

• 6 Perdue breaded chicken breasts $4.99 each, used three $1 off 2 peelie coupons
• Ground Beef $8.88
• Boneless Sirloin Steak $6.54
• 3 Kikkoman Marinades $2.29 (Teriyaki) and $1.69 (Soy), used three $1 coupons and got back $2 catalina = $1.27 or $0.42 each
• Heinz Ketchup $1.47 (with addt'l $10 purchase)
• Used four $10 catalinas, total was $5.10

Will use the meat purchases towards a $25 Dos Equis NBPR rebate on $40.01 of beef, chicken, seafood and/or tortillas (DOSNA011).
