Some More Deals at RA

Rite Aid
  • Theraflu Warming Relief Caplets (24 ct) $4.99, used $2 coupon, got back $1 UP and will submit for TMF rebate (2/13 SS) = $3 profit
  • 2 Colgate Total Advanced (5.8 oz) or Sensitive (6 oz) Toothpastes $3.50 each, used $0.50 coupon (1/30 or 2/6 SS) and $1 coupon (Jan or Feb All You magazine) and got back two $3.50 UP's (Limit 2) = $1.50 profit
  • Maalox (12 oz or 90 ct) $4.99, used $5 coupon (1/9 SS) and got back $1 UP = $1.01 profit
  • Gain Fabric Softener $2.39 (reg price $2.99, 20% discount), used $3 coupon (2/13 RP) = $0.61 profit *This is the regular price for these size bottles so no rush to use the coupons on them
  • 2 Almay Pure Blends Eye Shadows $1.87 each (clearance price), will get back $4 ($2 each, SCR #42 - valid on any Almay mascara, liner or shadow, Limit 2) = $0.26 profit *There's a $2 coupon in the 1/23 SS but I didn't get that in my inserts
  • Used $12 in UP's, total was $0.36
Bought these same items (minus the Gain) for DBF's card as well

ShopRite - I've been happily plodding along each week, using up my Purina catalinas. I've been buying what I've felt like, without using coupons on the items. Its nice to shop like that sometimes! But I had a couple other catalinas to use up and I wanted to show you all the Ronzoni overage that you can get.
  • Ronzoni Garden Delights Pasta $0.74, used $1 coupon (1/23 SS) = $0.26 profit *Goes through without any beeps
  • 2 Freihofer breads $2.69 each, will submit for $4 Guinness NBPR rebate (WYB $4.01 of bread, meat or cheese) = $1.38 for both
  • Used $5 cat, total was $0.12
Then I bought two Quaker granola bars for $2.50 each

Besides all the cool NBPR rebates you get, do think the rebates have dried up lately. Last year I did a ton and now that hasn't been as many. Just wondered if you felt the same. Maybe I am just missing them.

I've found that rebates (like everything else) go through dry spells. I've been doing a lot lately, with the Prilosec, Renpure and Physician's Formula so I don't feel that its been a slow month. But I have noticed there aren't as many NBPR rebates out there right now that are peaking my interest. Hopefully it will pick back up again soon!
