Picking Up Some Pick Up Sticks

Rite Aid - wasn't so concerned with rolling my UP's today since I have so many expiring soon. I was looking for fishing games but this store didn't have any. I'll try a different one tomorrow and see if I have any luck.
  • Rose Pick Up Sticks $1.94 ($2.59 reg price, 25% sale), got back $2 UP = $0.06 profit - thanks for the tip on these Jamie
  • 2 Tugaboos $0.79 each ($0.99 reg price, 20% Wellness discount), used two $1 coupons (found inside package) = $0.42 profit
  • 3 Acne Free Terminators (love these) $4.86 each ($6.49 reg. price, 25% sale), used three $1 coupons (10/17 RP) and got back three $3 UP's = $0.86 each - saw these first on A Super Savvy Saver
  • 2 Honey Nut Cheerios $2.50 each, got back $2 UP = $3 or $1.50 each
  • Haviland Thin Mints $0.79 - bought this thinking it would get me up to $25. Alas, I didn't quite make it, so I picked up:
  • 2 M&M's $0.50 each
  • Used $5 off $25 coupon (these are working again in case you didn't hear), two $5 UP's, $3 UP and $1 UP, total was $0.89. Total cost $1.89
ShopRite
  • Gouda Cheese $3.60
  • Fontina Cheese $7.47 - will use these two towards a $6 Stella Artois NBPR rebate (WYB $10+ of gourmet cheese or crackers)
  • 3 Panasonic AAA Batteries $0.99 (looked like this was an in-store special)
  • Used two $2.50 and one $5 cats for toys/appliances/batteries - used them at self checkout and didn't get any beeps. Tried to use a fourth $2.50 cat but it beeped saying I'd exceeded the number of coupons/items. I guess since I bought three batteries, it will only let me use three cats. Total was $4.25
Separately - $25 Shell gift card - will use towards a third $5 Coors NBPR (WYB $25 of gift cards)

Acne Free Terminators were 6.49 reg. price @ your store? Wow, only $5.99 in NY...and I thought we had the higher prices...nice trip though...

Isn't it interesting how much prices vary? I bet they'll be a different price at another store here in the same area.

Suz,

I have to tell you that I have learned almost everything I know about RiteAid from you and Slugmama! Thanks so much for teaching this AZ transplant, where we didn't have RiteAid!
