Every Little Bit Helps

When I did my RA shopping yesterday, I was just concerned with getting da boyfriend's card up to the 20% discount level. I did a smaller transaction on mine since I'm already at 20% there. Well duh, I totally forgot about the Gift of Savings program! In case you haven't heard, its a bit different than last year and they're only counting your out of pocket expense towards your total. Major bummer, but with the Duracell MyGrids I bought (that's a month long deal by the way if you're looking for items to buy to help up your discount or GOS), I'm at $5 on each account already. I decided to go back for more frames on my card to help bring me up.
  • 10 Photo Frames $5 each, 50% off sale so they were $2.50 each, got back $2 UP for each = $5
  • 2 Tugaboos $0.79 each ($0.99 reg price, 10% Wellness discount), used two $1 coupons (found inside package) = $0.42 profit
  • Used $5 off $25 coupon, total was $20.98, overall cost of transaction = $0.98
This gives me another $20 towards the next level on the GOS. Without realizing it, I did the same thing for DBF's account yesterday. Maybe I'll do the Garnier deal this week too, if I feel like getting all my coupons in order that is. I'm just so sick of Rite Aid shopping! But who can pass up a moneymaker? Every little bit into my savings account helps. I better get my groove back soon, I really want some moneymaker loofahs next week! The stores I've been to in the past couple days only have one or two in stock, so I have a feeling I'm going to be running all over in search of these.
