How Many Gift Cards Does it Take...

...to buy some soap and a shelf? Let's see...

CVS
  • 2 Softsoap Ensembles refills $3.99 each, used two $2 coupons (Reinventing Beauty magazine found in stores or 3/22 SS) and got back $4 EB ($2 EB each, limit 10 containers, can also buy pumps) = FREE
  • Clearanced shelf $6.49
  • Now here's the fun part - I had a bunch of gift cards/money cards to use up. I used $2.48 on one, $2.14 on another, $0.37 on a third, $0.70 on a fourth and $0.99 on the last. Phew!

Second store

I had lots of fun with CVS and Wags tonight too :)

FWIW - I have heard that the RIB coupons can be combined with the insert coupons. Even though they say manu q, they work like the WAGS ESR coupons and can be combined with another. I see a serious MM in my future! Which is good because my ECBs are super low.

The softsoap limit is 10 containers. I just maxed out that deal on both of my cards :)

Sarah,
I had tried that a while ago and since the RIB Softsoap coupon is actually a true manufacturer's coupon, it didn't work when I tried to use it with a manu coupon. But normally that is true and its great!

Tanya,
Thanks! I had manufacturer's coupons for these but I cannot for the life of me find them. So I guess I'm done with the deal for now.

I thought that the RIB coupons were for the pump with base, not the refills?

KFlip,
They are, but they work on the refills as well (no beeps).

I was wondering what you are going to do with all the Disbetes testing meeters that you have? I've called several places where I live (NE), even the ADA and they won't take them. Any ideas??
