The Skinniest P&G Ever

Did you notice how thin that P&G insert was? Wow
Walgreens
  • 3 Reach Ultra Clean toothbrushes $3 each (can also buy floss), used three $1 coupons (2/8 RP, also $3 off 3 Q in 3/15 SS or diabetes magazine found in stores - pic here) and got back $6 RR = FREE
  • 8 Dove bars of soap $1.26 each, got back $10 RR (for buying 8) = $0.08 for all 8
  • Walgreens Headache Relief Extra Strength Quickgels (20 pack) $2.99, will get back $3.29 ($2.99 + 10%, ESR #3) = $0.39 profit
  • Used $8 RR, $3 RR, $3 RR and $3 RR, total was $3

If you can't find eight at once, here's the rest of the promo: buy 4 get $2 RR, buy 6 get $6 RR

  • Reach Ultra Clean toothbrush, floss and Listerine $3 each, used $3 off 3 coupon in diabetes magazine found in stores - pic here, got back $6 RR = FREE
  • 8 Dove bars of soap $1.19 each, got back $10 RR (for buying 8) = $0.48 profit
  • Used $8 RR and $3 RR, total was $5.82

And again...

  • Reach Ultra Clean toothbrush, floss and Listerine $3 each, used $3 off 3 coupon in diabetes magazine found in stores - pic here, got back $6 RR = FREE
  • Total was $6.63

CVS

  • 7 papers $1.50 each
  • Used $10 EB, total was $0.50

This CVS didn't have any of the Baked Lays or Dry Idea I was looking for, so I'm going to do my big CVS run tomorrow. I needed the Irish Spring and Colgate coupons from today's paper anyway, so that works out better.

DBF and I took Miss Shadow to a dog park today. The weather was great and she had fun running around with the four pit bull puppies that were there. They were all adorable. Woofs to Sky, China, Champ and Mozart!

I tried to grab some more of the trial size Dove deo and they didn't produce the RR. Of course I got the "it's because you used a coupon" spill. Whatever!

Glad to see it's working on the Dove soap so I'll be going back!

I thought the same thing when I saw the P&G insert! Sheesh!

What is up with the P&G insert? Yikes! You'd think P&G would respond to the economic climate with more coupons, not less.

Coupon Mommie,
Ugh, that's so frustrating because we all know that's just not true!

Joelle,
Its almost a waste of an insert! Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely take it, but come on P&G.

Amanda,
Exactly! It may just be small because its a mid-month insert. Usually the P&G's come out at the start of the month.

I have been saying this all along and no one believes me BUT supply and demand no longer works here. With this economy and the way our govt. keeps meddling in private business, coupons are going to become fewer and fewer and less amounts of money on a product. Too many people are now using coupons and companies will be cutting back because it cuts into their profits.

Precious,
I think you may be right, unfortunately. :(
