Long Overdue Donation Day

Today was the first opportunity I've had in a long time to take my donate-ables to my local food pantry. They're open normal business hours, which makes it hard for me to take things over during the week due to my work schedule. I had today off from work, so I finally got to clean out my donation table (and the spill-over on the floor!)
Here's everything all bagged up. The one thing I really hate about donations is physically getting all the goodies from garage into the municipal building. This took two trips - the food pantry staff member actually came out to my car and helped me bring in the second half.

Isn't it great to share with the food bank? I love it!

Good for you! I pick up things when I can get them free with the coupons. If my kids don't like it, I donate remaining items to the food bank!

nice haul! I don't know if I asked you this before, but which food pantry do you donate to? We don't have one around here, so I take most to my church.

Thanks all. It really feels nice to be able to give things to others. There's no way I could possibly use every item I buy, so why not share with others?

Amiyrah,
My town has its own food pantry. I called up the Municipal Offices to ask about it, and its run through their office. I just bring in my goodies to the central office and there's a woman there who sorts through everything and manages the pantry. Might be worth a call to yours to see if they have something similar.
