Help Me Out!

RiteAid - my card
  • Keri Lotion (15 oz) $6.99 - $6.79 with 20% discount, used $3 coupon (FYI this beeped) and will get back $6 (SCR #34) = $2.21 profit
  • Comtrex (24 ct.) $4.99 - $4.79 with 20% discount, used $1.50 coupon (2/13 SS) and got back $4 (SCR #26) = $0.69 profit
  • Snickers Single Candy Bar (1.76-2.07 oz) $0.88 - $0.70 with 20% discount, got back $0.88 UP (Limit 1) = $0.18 profit
  • 2 Osteo Bi-Flex Caplets $19.99, BOGO sale, used two $7 coupons (*Expire 3/8, 1/23 RP), $3 RA coupon (Feb. Video Values) and got back $2 UP ($2 WYB 2) = $0.99 for two
  • Tavist Allergy Tablet (16 ct) $6.99, will get back $6 (SCR #33) = $0.99
  • Desenex Antifungal Shake Powder (3 oz) $6.99 - $6.63 with 20% discount, will get back $6 (SCR #36) = $0.63
  • Used $24 in UP's, total was $0.92
Then at another store, we got this stuff on DBF's card. The regular prices are a bit higher, so my 20% discount didn't help on the Keri.
  • Keri Lotion (15 oz) $6.99, used $3 coupon (FYI this beeped) and will get back $6 (SCR #34) = $2.01 profit
  • 8 Osteo Bi-Flex Caplets $20.99 each, BOGO sale, used eight $7 coupons (*Expire 3/8, 1/23 RP), $3 RA coupon (Feb. Video Values) and got back four $2 UP's ($2 WYB 2) = $16.96 or $2.12 each
  • Tavist Allergy Tablet (16 ct) $6.99, will get back $6 (SCR #33) = $0.99
  • Used $20 in UP's, total was $11.93
Between these two transactions, I used up all my UP's. I really didn't need the Tavist on the second transaction but it was already in the cart when I spotted the motherlode of Osteo's and I didn't think to put it back. DBF takes glucosamine every day, so this was a great stock-up price for us.

ShopRite
  • 4 SR reusable bags, used four freebie catalinas (earned over the past two weeks) = FREE
  • Reese peanut butter chips $2.29
  • Eggs $1.99
  • Milk $2.19
  • Kaiser rolls $1.99
  • 2 Cracker Barrel chunk cheeses $2.49 each, will submit for $4 Guiness NBPR rebate on $4.01 meat/cheese/bread = $0.98
  • Used four $3 catalinas, total was $1.88
DBF picked up four Knorr's goulash mixes, using another three $3 catalinas.

Starting Week Total: 27 catalinas or $81. 7 cats or $21 used = $60 left to spend.

A new Wawa opened recently in my area so we picked up lunch there. Their sandwiches are amazing! They also have milkshake mixes - heaven in a cup. We will definitely be back!

Now I have a question for all of you! We're down to four or five Gillette razors, which is not good news for my hunny since he shaves his head everyday. Are there any freebie/cheap deals on Gillette coming up soon? I'd love to find a deal at Target or Walmart, so I can buy a whole bunch at once and be done with it. Anybody got any ideas?

my fiance use to go through razors like mad fast!

Then we started storing them in a cup of alcohol - which keeps water from rusting the blades which made them last a lot longer!

And it looks like there is a deal 3/20 @ RA for a $10UP wyb $30... these usually cost me ~10 at my store, so

3@ $10.00
-$12 ($4 x 3 manu coupon - if available)
-$3/15 survey coupon
-$10 up
=========
3 razors for $5 --> make sure to buy the ones with 2 cartridges of course!

Wawa milkshake mixes are the best!!!! We get them everytime we visit my bff in Delaware!

If your WM has the $1.87 Gain sheets & you still have Qs, then you can use the overage to help cover the cost of the razors.
My DH also shaves his head daily, but he uses an electric razor. Has your DBF tried using an electric one?
PS: Love your hair colour!

I've heard storing razor blades in baby oil will keep them lasting longer. Good use for all those j&J products from a few weeks back.

Thanks for the tips all!

Pubbler,
The sheets are $3.52 at my Walmart so that's a no-go, but definitely something to keep in mind now that their coupon policy changed.

I had some Ups that were expiring today, so I headed on over to Rite Aid with a list I appropriated from you. What a difference in prices between the east coast and west coast. For example, the Keri lotion was $8.49 here and the Comtrex was $5.99 and the Tavist was $8something. I still managed to spend my ups. 'wink' Thanks for your great blog.

Diane,
Thanks! I sometimes run into price differences even between stores in the same county! I remember reading somewhere that CA wasn't getting a lot of the same sale prices that I did, is that where you live? Maybe that's part of the reason for the huge differences.
