Duracell Day

Rite Aid
  • Duracell myGrid Power Sleeve $23.99 (reg. $29.99, 20% Wellness discount), will get back $25 (SCR #37) = $1.01 profit
  • 2 Tugaboos diapers $0.79 each (reg $0.99, 20% Wellness discount) used two $1 coupons (found inside package) = $0.42 profit
  • Used $5 off $25 coupon, total was $19.90, overall profit $5.10
Bought a second one for DBF's rebates. I'm only up to 10% discount on this card, so it cost me $26.99 for the myGrid. After the $5/$25 coupon and overage from the Tugaboos, I made a $4.69 profit on that one. I picked up a couple of these last month and they sold pretty well on ebay, so I was really happy to see this deal pop up again. $29.99 is the regular price, so this deal is good all month.

Staples
  • 2 Duracell Batteries (20 pack, AAA or AA) $12.99 each, used two $1.50 coupons (11/14 RP) and will get back $25.98 in Staples Rewards (Limit 2) = $3 profit
  • Total was $24.80 with tax

Have you logged into your gift of savings? Mine shows I only have $1 after purchasing $121 worth of items. Are they doing it different this year?

I haven't, but I've read that Rite Aid totally changed the program this year and is only crediting you your out of pocket expenses. Totally lame Rite Aid!

I'm thinking it might be best to pay cash for all items that are free after UPs or SCR (especially big ticket items). this will help me get $20 GOS that I will use to buy more SCR items. I will get my money back, plus $20 from RA. And I will use the UPs for more SCR items. Win-win situation.
