I was feeling absolutely miserable this morning. Fever, nauseous, pounding headache, sore throat, etc. I got up for work, got dressed and everything and was on the road when I said to myself, what the hell are you doing? Go back home! That's just what I did and collapsed back in bed for another four hours. I woke up feeling semi-human again and after having some lunch, I felt pretty ok. I wanted to go to Rite Aid to get some Mucinex to fight off the congestion, and then ended up running my other errands as well since I was out. The stores were in the same area, so I figured why not. It was a beautiful day today and the sunshine and breeze was helping my congestion. My head is still hurting a bit now, but other than that, I feel pretty ok. I'm going to head off to bed nice and early since I absolutely have to be at work tomorrow.
Rite Aid - did this on DBF's card- 3 Mucinex DM's $11 each, got back $7 UP Reward (WYB 2) = $26 or $8.66 each - was thinking I'd also get back a $10 UP Reward for buying $30 worth (monthly deal until 9/25) but these are the wrong size for that deal. Both my boyfriend and I use this stuff, so I don't mind burning some UP Rewards on them
- Ginger Ale $1.25 - will use this to finish out second Coors NBPR rebate on soda. Also picked this up in case my stomach starts hurting again
- Used $5 off $25 coupon and (get ready for it) $1 UP, $2 UP, $2 UP, $2 UP, $4 UP, $4 UP, $4 UP, $4 UP, $4 UP, total was $2.25 - paid with rewards gift card I got from a previous rebate. Cashier was a bit nervous about taking so many UP's, but after checking with her manager, she scanned them all with no problems.
Then I bought:
- Crest 3D White Toothpaste (4 oz) $2.99, used $1 coupon (8/29 P&G), got back $1.50 UP Rewards and will get back $2 (SCR #54) = $1.51 profit (Limit 3 for the UP Reward)
- 2 Playtex Tampons (18 ct) $4 each, used $2 coupon and $1 coupon (or 9/12 SS or June or August All You magazine) and got back two $3 UP Rewards = $1 profit *Limit is 2
- 3 Pepsi 12 packs $10.98, got back $2 UP Reward (WYB 3) = three for $8.98 or $2.99 each - will use these towards a third Coors soda rebate
- Used $4 off $20 coupon and three $4 UP Rewards, total was $2.95 - paid with rewards gift card I got from a previous rebate.
CVS - DBF's card
- Sun/Mon/Tues ONLY: Brachs Candy $0.99, got back $0.99 EB (Limit 1) = FREE
- Nivea for Men Body Wash $4.99, used $1 coupon (7/25 or 8/29 RP) and got back $4.99 EB (Limit 1) = $1 profit

Hope you're feeling better today!
DH had to go to CVS for me the other day in Atlantic City since I broke out with a cold sore during a poker tournament. Don't ask how it happened, I don't know. So, he went to the borgata store, they only had blistex, but he said the thing said medicated. I asked how much he said $3 and change. Nope, go to the store and spend $15 bucks on Abreva. So off he went to CVS. When he came back with the bag, I noticed a CVS card in there. The cashier just gave him one! It has the two keychain ones and the credit card shaped one....so now we have THREE! I was SOOOO happy :)
Yes! Shopping is the best medicine. Please tell my husband that. Haha! Good job on the nails!
Thanks, I am feeling much better today. Having an extra CVS card never hurts!
Courtney,
haha, happy to!
