Tried to buy three cases of Diet Coke and use three FREE coupons from My Coke Rewards. The coupons beeped and the cashier couldn't get them to go through. The manager came over and said they couldn't accept them because there have been too many fraudulent free Coke coupons floating around and Walgreens corporate has said no-way-Jose to them. I was really bummed because my coupons are legit. The last time I tried to use these same coupons at CVS, they beep and come up as not matching any items. I think they are coded incorrectly because I always have issues using them. I'm not sure who to complain to - Walgreens or Coke! I'm going to try again tomorrow at a super friendly store and we'll see what happens.
CVS
- Ban Invisible Solid (2.6 oz) $2.99, used $1 coupon (4/18 SS) and got back $2 EB (Limit 1) = FREE/$0.01 profit
- Milk $1.99
- Used $2 EB and $2 EB, total was $0.19

My Waglreens said the same thing about the coke. Said they got word directly FROM COKE that coke DOES NOT distribute freebie coupons for 12 packs. I had told them to go online and do coke rewards and see that they do indeed give out freebie coupons.
Ignorant!
thanks for the heads up! off to check ebay:)
I used my free coke reward coupon at Albertson's and it beeped as well. It was a supervisor ringing me up and she made it work but really struggled. I think you're right in that they're coded wrong.
News,
UGH, Coke itself is saying they don't have freebie coupons? Hello!!
Queen,
You're welcome!
Raquel,
I figure I'll end up using my coupons at the supermarket too. What a pain.
