EDIT - oops, forgot to include instructions. Take a look at this
previous post for details on sending Q's overseas.
Here's my latest batch of expired coupons to be sent overseas to the military. I really just could not be bothered counting up every single coupon in the batch, so I just estimated their values based on previous envelopes I've sent out. Do they really care if its an exact value anyway? I wonder. Food items - $1,000, non-food items - $5,000.
YTD Coupon Value: $14,510.71

Why do you send your expired coupons? Is there something that can be done with them? If so...I would like to know. It seems a lot better than just throwing them away.
I would like to know more about sending expired coupons overseas. What do they do with them and how do you send them?
First off, I wanted to let you know you have truly changed my life. I have learned so much from you!! Secondly, I needed to tell you and all the other hounds out there...Kmart is doubling $2 coupons again starting tomorrow (11/30) and going untill Saturday. I live in CT but they are doing it at all Kmarts this time. HAPPY HOUNDING!!
toni - aww, thanks so much! That's so sweet. :) I saw that Kmarts are doubling again. I think I might wait and see what other folks get before I decide if I want to venture out to Kmart again. The last round was exhausting! lol
Lissa,
Oops, sorry, I usually link back to a post with instructions when I do these coupons. I'll update the post with the info. :)
Sarah,
Troops overseas can use coupons for up to six months past the expiration date. :)
