We didn't really do much shopping today, just picked up some papers at Pathmark. We had more important things to do - today was tattoo day! DBF has been saving up his spare change for ages and finally had enough to pay for a new tattoo. The flag is backwards because that's how it would look when carried into battle, blowing with the wind. I love how it came out! It took about an hour and a half to do and DBF was such a trooper. I didn't see him flinch once.

Ouch!!!! How much does something like that cost (if you don't mind). Glad that he is happy with it. Are you getting one to match?? LOL
Kathleen,
haha, nope, no matching tattoo's for me. I like them, but have no plans to get any of my own. This one cost him about $200.
It seems pretty big, so $200 isn't bad at all. It looks REALLY GOOD too! I'm too chicken to get a tatoo....I do want one, but I is a scaredy cat :)
spaghetti,
Yeah, $200 really wasn't bad considering how large that tattoo turned out to be. I wouldn't want to sit through that either.
it's not that bad :) i thought about mine for years before i worked up the nerve, then was like, "what was i so afraid of??"
Thank goodness you got it facing the right way, even if everyone else says it is backwards!
Queen,
I like tattoos, but there's nothing that I'd want on my body for so many years. I know I'd get sick of it, so that's why I won't be getting any.
Rebecca,
I was a little confused at first, but once my boyfriend explained why it was backwards, it made sense. Its actually pretty cool!
