WOO!

Acme - this was a lot of fun! There are a lot more deals to be had this week, but I wanted to do these simpler ones first. I grabbed the circular from the store so I can better plan my next trip.
  • 10 Pop Tarts $1.00 each, used seven $0.55 coupons (6/7 RP *Expires 8/2, all the coupons doubled) = $2.30 and will submit for $10 Kellogg's Rebate = $7.70 profit
  • 6 Honey Nut Cheerios (reg price $4.29 each), 4 Cinnamon Toast Crunch (reg price $4.39 each), 2 Kix (reg price $3.89 each) and 2 Honey Kix (reg price $4.39 each) - all $2 each and used seven $1 off 2 coupons (7/19 SS) = $21 and got back $30 in catalinas = $9 profit
  • Total was $23.30

The cereal is part of a spend $30, get back $15 deal. The nice thing is that you can do the deal more than once - in the same transaction! How cool is that? AND...its based on the shelf prices, not the sale prices. So the shelf price total of all that cereal added up to $59.86 (oops, I really thought I was at $60!) and I got back $30 in catalinas. And don't worry, its not one catalina for $30 - I got back six $5 catalinas that are good for two weeks. Its going to be fun spending these!

Walgreens - there was a 15% family and friends discount available for today only. Many thanks to pubbler for posting some really fabulous deals! I had ordered some Scotch coupons off ebay and they arrived today. I shopped at store #1 before my mail came in.

Store 1:
  • 3 Reach Advanced Twin Pack toothbrushes (Medium, full head) $3 each - $2.55 each with 15% discount, used three $2 coupons (6/14 SS) and got back $3 RR (WYB 3, monthly deal until 8/29) = $1.35 profit
  • 8 Scotch Mailers - two rang up as $0.33 each ($0.39 - 15% discount) and the other six rang up as $3.51 total. I'm not sure what that's about. I may take them back and ask about that. Or maybe I'll just let it go. The receipt is pretty unclear and this store is been SO nice to me.
  • Total was $6.65

Store 2:

  • 3 Reach Advanced Twin Pack toothbrushes (Medium, full head) $3 each - $2.55 each with 15% discount, used three $2 coupons (6/14 SS) and got back $3 RR (WYB 3, monthly deal until 8/29) = $1.35 profit
  • Goody Ouchless Flex Headband (UPC 041457092958) $3.99 - $3.29 with 15% discount, used $1 coupon (printable, no longer available) and will submit for Try Me Free rebate (form printed at checkout, promo valid until 8/1 as per rebate form) = $1 profit
  • 20 Scotch Mailers $0.39 - $0.33 each with 15% discount, used thirteen $0.50 coupons (7/26 RP) = $0.10 or $0.005 each!
  • Total was $5.39

Store 3:

  • Goody Ouchless Flex Barrette (UPC 041457092910) $3.99 - $3.29 with 15% discount, will submit for Try Me Free rebate (form printed at checkout, promo valid until 8/1 as per rebate form) = FREE
  • 11 Scotch Mailers $0.39 - $0.33 each with 15% discount, used seven $0.50 coupons (7/26 RP) = $0.13 or $0.01 each
  • Total was $4.01

Do Your Ears Hang Low?

"Do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie them in a knot? Can you tie them in a bow?" Well, Riley almost can...

But first, a word from our sponsors...

CVS - my card
  • 9 Mentos gums $1 each, used nine $1 coupons (5/3 SS *Q expires 7/31) = FREE

I just ordered more of these coupons on ebay. Hopefully I'll get them before the end of the week.

ShopRite

  • 3 Blue Bunny pints $0.99 each, used three $1 coupons (adjusted down to $0.99 each, have to join Scream Team to get the coupon, it will be emailed to you - you can print as many as you want, FYI these have been beeping for me at the register), got back $3 catalina and catalina for free reusable bag = $3 profit

Stopped by Blockbuster on my way home and redeemed a coupon for a free rental. I got this from being a member of erewards and doing surveys with them. There are a bunch of rewards, but the Blockbuster one always looks the best to me.

Shadow had a play date with Rocky and Riley on Sunday afternoon. Notice the blue tie cord on the ground? Much to Shadow and Rocky's relief, Riley is tethered to this cord and it only reaches so far. This means that both dogs had a stalking/nipping/biting/jumping-free zone. Rocky is already a master at skirting around the edges of this safe haven and Shadow quickly mastered the boundaries.

Riley - "Hey there Shadow! Shadow! Shadow! Wanna play? Wanna? Wanna? Huh huh huh?"

Shadow - "Puppy-free zone in five feet, four, three, two, one..."

Don't worry folks, Riley's feelings are not hurt in the slightest. This little guy is nothing if not persistent. Over and over again, he ran after the other dogs (and all of us for that matter).

See, look! Here he comes after me! Hmm, something is a bit odd with this picture. What's up with those ears Riley? We've all seen dogs with their ears flipped up, but both at the same time? Riley, Riley, Riley, you are one of a kind.

Shake!

Rattle! And he's ready to roll!Sunday was a hot, hazy and humid day and definitely called for a little swimmy pool action. Riley really has to really concentrate on jumping over the edge to get in and out. His little legs are just a smidge too short.
DBF cooled off Riley's head for him.
Riley - "Thanks mister! I'm out!"
Girls swim! The water was nice & cool and my sister and I just had to indulge our toes as well.
Shadow - "AHHHHHH, thanks Dad!"
Is this not the face of a happy dog? :)

Lots of Stuff

Walmart - stole this deal idea from Precious
  • 3 Bushnell 5 Day Weather Forecasters - clearanced to $50 each (reg. $99.99), will submit for $50 rebate (Limit 3) = FREE
  • Total was $160.50 with tax

Found these in the hardware section of the store. Only two are in the picture because DBF and I wanted to try one out. Its pretty cool! My only gripe is that you have to select a nearby city and it gives you the weather for that area. So depending on how close you are to that city, your weather may be slightly different.

I decided to try out a 24 hour CVS on Saturday night and see if Sunday's deals worked. I asked the cashier before I bought anything if they would, and he assured me the deals were all programmed in already. So I got all my stuff together and checked out. None of the sale prices rang up and none of my EB's printed. The manager guy re-rang me, adjusted all of the prices and then manually printed EB's for me. Was this because the sales were three day sales or something? Anyone ever tried to do sales early like this?

CVS - my card - these deals are good Sun/Mon/Tues only (except for the tampons - those are good all week)

  • 2 Caliber 100 Page Composition Books $0.99 each, got back $1.98 EB (Limit 2) = FREE

Happy Friday

The rebate forms are all spoken for. If you're in Target, check the beverage aisle - maybe you can find some too!
Staples - I didn't see this deal in the circular until midway through the week and by that time, the Staples near home and work were all out of stock. Then I remembered an out of the way Staples and checked there tonight - they had a whole basket full! This store always seems to be well-stocked. I have to remember to check this one more often.
  • Staples battery operated pencil sharpener $10, will get back $10 Easy Rebate (Limit 1) = FREE
  • Total was $10.70 with tax

My sister bought a second one for me and I'll submit for this rebate under DBF's address.

We also went to Target and poked around a bit. I found some $0.75 coupons good for single bottles of Snapple and rebate forms for a free pack of 6 bottles (up to $6.99). The rebate is good until 8/15 (postmark by 8/22) and isn't good in RI. I snagged some extra forms for you dear friends, just cause I love ya that much. :) If you'd like one, please send me your address at frugalsuz@hotmail.com. I have about 6 extra forms and I'll update the post when they're gone. Please don't post your address in the comments section - privacy and all that jazz.

Coupon Printing Help

Have you ever tried to print a coupon online and you get that message saying that you have to install the coupon printer? You say, okie doke, click install, then try and print the coupon again only to have it bump you back to the install page again? So annoying. I read about a tip for this on HCW yesterday and it worked for me! I'm not sure if it works in all browsers or just Internet Explorer. When you're at the Print Coupon page (not the "install coupon printer" page), change the "vg" in the URL to "wi", hit enter and then print. :)

So for example, here's the address to the Bic Triumph coupon I used this trick on:

http:// bricks.coupons.com /Start.asp?tqnm=qgulbcd23263742&bt=vg&o=57067&c=TR&p=nSbsjD3w

(I put a couple spaces in there after the // and .com so it wouldn't turn into a link, if you copy and paste the link into a browser, be sure to take them out)

So what I did was change the "vg" to "wi" as so:

http:// bricks.coupons.com /Start.asp?tqnm=qgulbcd23263742&bt=wi&o=57067&c=TR&p=nSbsjD3w

...and now it prints!

More Rite Aid

Rite Aid - thanks dancinmama for the idea of buying the other Schick razors!
  • 2 Schick Quattro razors $5.99 each, used two $4 coupons (August All You magazine or 6/14 SS) = $3.98 or $1.99 each
  • 2 Schick Xtreme3 Comfort Plus Disposable razors (4 pack) $7.99 each, used BOGO coupon (6/21 SS) = $7.99
  • Sambucol $7.99, used $3 coupon (found inside package I bought previously) and will get back $7 (SCR #91) = $2.01 profit
  • Used $5 off $25 coupon, total was $12.94

The Schick purchases brought me up to $50 spent towards SCR #61 - buy $25 worth of Kimberly Clark products and get a $10 Rite Aid gift card or buy $50 worth and get a $25 gift card. Between these purchases and the ones I made on Sunday, I spent $11.22 OOP ($21.22 total cost minus two $5 off $25 RA coupons) and I will get back a $25 gift card = $13.78 profit.

RiteAid's deals are really getting good again lately, don't you think? And its getting even better - there are going to be about ten freebies the week of 8/2. With all the $5 off $25 coupons floating around, its nice to be able to make a profit at RA again.

Another Busy CVS Week 7/26 - 8/1

As always, my deals all come from the wonderful folks at HCW, Slick Deals and Erica at iheartcvs.com, iheartriteaid.com and iheartwags.com.

Staples - well, the circular is up on staples.com and there's nothing to get excited about. There's a $5 off $30 coupon in the circular but it doesn't look like there are any freebies this week. Oh well.

It Worked!

I was just looking at my RA rebate status and I DID qualify for the voucher for a free package of Huggies diapers. The rebate information said you had to buy five packages of Huggies Supreme or Snug & Dry to qualify. I bought two packages of Snug & Dry and three packages of Little Swimmers, but it worked! I'm going to request this voucher right away before they catch on. :)

Free Movies for Me

How cool is this? Over the weekend, my boyfriend spotted a Redbox machine at a 7-11 that I pass EVERY SINGLE DAY to go to work. I'm so excited! I've heard about all the freebie codes for Redbox, but there haven't been any machines close enough to me to make it worthwhile. I signed up for email messages from Redbox this afternoon and they sent me one already. Here's what they said in the email:

"To redeem your one night's free rental, please enter the following promo code at any redbox. Note that the code cannot be used for redbox.com online reservations. BREAKROOM Enjoy!"

So here's my question - how long is the code good for? I know that in general, the freebie codes are good for Mondays only and you have to return the movie by 9 pm the next Tuesday, but this email doesn't specify any dates. Is this a generic newbie code? I didn't have time to get a movie tonight, so I'm hoping I can use this another time. What do you think?

I'm sure all you Redbox pros out there already know about this, but I found a website called Redbox Codes that lists all of the current codes that are out there. Good to know!

*Buying the Neutrogena brought me up to $50 towards SCR #160 (spend $50 on participating J&J products, get a $25 RA gift card). I didn't spend anything OOP for the other items I bought, so this is a $15.91 profit for me on this rebate (I didn't figure the tax in here).

I had wanted to get some chewable Sambucol tablets but all the boxes were sliced open on the top. Isn't that weird? I wonder if someone was hunting for coupons.

CVS - my card

  • 2 Caliber or CVS No. 2 Pencils (24 count) $1.99 each, got back $3.98 ($1.99 EB each, limit 2) = FREE
  • Used $1.98 EB and $1.98 EB, total was $0.16

No vinyl binders at this store either. From what I've read on HCW and other blogs, I'm starting to think the binders are one of those items that only certain stores carry. I have rainchecks for these for both my cards, so I'll get them eventually. Or maybe not. Either way, its all good. :)

What a Day

What a wonderful weekend. On Saturday, DBF and I checked out the new Harry Potter movie with my sister and her friend. I am a huge fan of HP and thought the movie was amazing. Poor DBF was totally lost though. Afterwards, we all grabbed dinner at Fat Burger - yummo! Then it was off to a local park for a fireworks display. I was really hoping to get some great pictures, but they didn't come out well. At least the kids next to us at the park got a kick out of the fireworks. I swear the one kid kept saying "dammit! Those are some good fireworks!" His mom didn't make a peep, so I may be wrong. She was all over him for everything else he did so I doubt she would have let him swear. He kept cracking us up!
Sunday was shopping day. We started off at Staples. I saw in the circular that backpacks are free, and figured that we could always use a backpack. When we got in the store, the sales folks were setting up a huge display of bags, including totes. I asked if the rebate included the totes and the woman told me absolutely. We decided to get two - one on my Staples rewards card and the second on DBF's. Score!

Staples
  • 2 Backpack/tote bags - $19.99 and $9.99 each, will get back that money on each of our Staples Rewards cards in October (Limit one per address) = FREE (just paid the tax)
A&P
  • 2 cases Diet Coke (not in pic) $1.69 each with in-circular coupon (have to spend at least $15 on other stuff for this price)
  • Entenmann's apple pastry $1.69 with in-circular coupon (have to spend at least $15 on other stuff for this price)
  • Cantelope $0.78 with in-circular coupon (have to spend at least $15 on other stuff for this price)
  • 5 Cabot cheddars $1.84 each
  • America's Choice milk $1.99
  • Fresh Express lettuces $1.49 each
  • Doritos $1.99
  • Used $1 catalina, total was $22.38
ShopRite
  • 6 Santa Cruz Organic lemonades $1.39 each, used six $0.75 coupons (from Go Organic booklet found in stores) = FREE
  • Just paid tax of $0.32 - bought these over a couple transactions
Rite Aid
  • 4 Schick Quattro Razors $5.99 each, used four $4 coupons (6/14 SS) = $7.96 or $1.99 each
  • Scott bath tissue $1.29
  • Used $5 off $25 coupon, total was $5.93

These purchases qualified me for a $10 RA gift card (SCR #61 - buy $25 worth of Kimberly Clark products, get a $10 Rite Aid gift card or buy $50 worth and get a $25 gift card) = $4.07 profit

CVS - FYI the school supplies are only on sale Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
  • 2 Caliber or CVS Filler Papers (150 sheets) $2 each, got back $4 EB ($2 EB each, limit 2) = FREE
  • 2 Caliber or CVS Memo Books (50-80 sheets) $0.99 each, got back $1.98 EB ($0.99 each, limit 2) = FREE
  • 2 PaperMate 1.2 Pens (10 count) $0.99 each, got back $1.98 EB ($0.99 each, limit 2) = FREE
  • CVS Pantiliners (22 count) $0.89, got $0.89 EB (Limit 1) = FREE
  • 3 papers $2 each
  • Used $1.98 EB, $1.98 EB, $4.47 EB and $5.98 EB, total was $0.46

Rinse and repeated on DBF's card

My store was out of the free pencils and vinyl binders so we got a raincheck for those. My favorite cashier even had the rainchecks written up for us before we got to the register. She saw us hunting around in the stationery aisle for them. :)
Since it was such a gorgeous day today, DBF and I decided to go for a nice leisurely Sunday drive. Our destination was Christmas Tree Shops in Allentown, PA. I love poking around in this store. They have housewares, decorations, furniture, cooking items, dishes, toys, HBA items and anything else your heart could desire. And everything is very affordable, but not cheap or tacky. I couldn't resist these scrapbook kits for $2.99 a piece. The cake stickers drew me in. I'm such a sucker for 3-D stickers.
DBF spotted these storage bins and I just had to have them. How cute are these?
They're actually pretty big too. Lots of room for stockpile items in these babies.
After our shopping was done, we decided to stop into Five Guys for dinner. Its a no-frills burger joint. You can order a burger, cheeseburger, bacon burger or bacon cheeseburger. That's about it! The fries are cooked in peanut oil and there are bins of peanuts all around for you to chow down on while you're waiting for your food. DBF and I ate outside on the patio and savored every delicious bite. The drive home was great. Windows down, good music playing, breeze blowing in my hair, my best friend beside me, what more could a girl ask for?

The Best of Friends?

Remember this touching little moment between Rocky and Riley? Ahh, how lovely.

Well friends, the honeymoon is officially over. Rocky is having none of this silly puppy nonsense. Puppy yips all afternoon really wear on a dog's nerves, ya know?
"Rocky, Rocky, Rocky! Wanna play? Huh huh? Play? Play? Right now? We play? Huh? Whadda ya say Rocky?"

Rocky - "FINE! You wanna play? Let's play...."

Riley - "oh crap"

Oh dear. If you can somehow draw your attention away from those dagger-like teeth, please notice the head smushing going on here. Repeatedly, Rocky bumped heads with little Riley, pushing his head down. He even tried to sit on and squash Riley a couple times. Riley's very wiggly and always got out of the way just in time. Oh my. Rocky's looking a wee-bit perturbed. After some serious playing, Riley's energy petered out and he all but collapsed on the floor, exhausted but smiling.
Riley - That was fun! Nom nom nom

Is it just me or does Riley look bigger already? Its amazing how fast puppies grow!

The Sky Is Falling!

I asked Customer Service at A&P whether or not I could get a raincheck for the Viva paper towels since my store has been out of them all week. The manager checked in the back to see if they had any lurking in the back and he came back with terrible news. The single rolls of Viva paper towels are being discontinued! Ay dios mio! Whatever will we do? I decided to use up my three remaining coupons at ShopRite instead.
ShopRite
  • 2 Bumble Bee albacore tuna pouches $1 each, used two $1 coupons (6/14 SS) = FREE
  • 3 Viva paper towels $2 each, used three $0.85 coupons (6/28 SS) = $0.90 or $0.30 each
  • 4 Hefty One Zip Bags $1.19 each, used four $1 coupons (5/17 RP) = $0.76 or $0.19 each
  • 2 Colonna Parmesan grated cheese $0.99 each
  • 4 Friendship Sour Creams $1.29 each, used two $1 off 2 coupons (6/28 SS) = $3.16 or $0.79 each
  • 12 Yoplait yogurts $0.50 each, used two $0.40 off 6 coupons (5/31 SS) = $4.40 or $0.36 each
  • Total was $11.43

CVS

  • Gillette Fusion Manual or Power Razor $7.99, used $4 coupon (6/7 P&G) and got back $4 EB (Limit 1) = FREE/$0.01 profit
  • Used $2.97 EB, total was $1.32

A&P

  • 3 Old Orchard Healthy Balance juices $1.66 each, used three $0.50 coupons (5/10 SS) = $0.48 or $0.16 each
  • Total was $0.74

Last month, I had gone for an eye exam and didn't realize my vision insurance changed at work, so I got a bill for $130 from the doctor. I called the office and explained what happened, and they re-ran my bill through the correct insurance. I had paid $40 as a copay and it turns out, the copay on the new plan is only $10 and my bill was fully covered. Yay! I got a check back for $30 yesterday, which was very nice.

Rite Aid - $5 off $25 coupon available Exp 7/31/09. Another one here Exp. 8/31/09

  • Citre Shine Sham/Cond/Styler $3.99, use $1 coupon (4/26 SS) and get back $3 (SCR #130) = FREE/$0.01 profit
  • Quantum Lysine Ointment (7 gm) $3.99, get back $3 (SCR #93) and send away for $1.25 rebate = $0.26 profit *The mail-in rebate (not the RA one) says not valid on sale prices, so this may not go through
  • Sambucol Lozenges or Tablets (30 ct) or Syrup (7 oz) $7.99, use $3 coupon (found inside some packages if you've bought these before) and get back $7 (SCR #91) = $2.01 profit *This stuff is AWESOME if you've never tried it!
  • Schick Quattro Razors $5.99 each, use $4 coupon (6/14 SS) = $1.99 each

*Here's the best part! These count towards SCR #61 - buy $25 worth of Kimberly Clark products, get a $10 Rite Aid gift card or buy $50 worth and get a $25 gift card. So, buy 5 razors = $29.95, use a $5 off $25 coupon and five $4 coupons = $4.95 OOP (plus tax) and you'd get back a $10 gift card = $5.05 profit Or you could buy four razors = $23.96 and find a cheaper item from the list of what counts towards the rebate (single rolls of Scott tp are listed as counting) to get you up to $25. Or if you have enough coupons, go for $50 and the $25 gift card. If you have enough coupons to do this, here's a great scenario from pubbler:

Then you'd qualify for the $3 Citre Shine rebate and the $25 RA gift card for the Schick = $17 profit

Word of caution: the Schick deal is the SAME REBATE as the Huggies deal and it is limit 1. So if you've bought the Huggies, you won't be able to do this rebate unless you do more than one RA rebate (ie. use multiple addresses like I do - one rebate at my address, a second at DBF's address).

Walgreens - guess they're trying to catch up to CVS's recent sales - I think they're going to have some more work to do! haha

  • Bic highlighters $0.49 each, use $1 off 2 coupon = two for FREE
  • Pilot G2 Pens (2 pack) $1, get back $1 RR = FREE
  • Excedrin $6.99 (40-50 count), BOGO sale, use two $1 coupons (7/12 SS - maybe use two $2 coupons if you find bonus packages - these Q's are good on 80 count) and get back $5 RR (WYB 2) = FREE or $2 profit
  • Tylenol (40-50 count) $4.99, use $2 coupon (6/21 SS) and get back $3 RR = FREE
  • Mentos gum $0.99 with in-circular coupon, use $1 coupon (5/3 or 6/21 SS, give FIRST) = FREE/$0.01 profit *If you have a lot of these coupons, I'd hang on to them for this sale at CVS
  • Kellogg's Cereal two for $5 or $2.50 each, use two $1 coupons (6/7 RP) and get back $1 RR (WYB 2) = $2 or $1 each

There are a ton of school supplies for cheap - be sure to check your circular carefully

RA is Really Making Me Think Today

I've been thinking about finishing out SCR #160 (spend $50 on participating J&J products and get a $25 RA gift card) that I started by buying Stayfree pads here and here. In total, I bought 20 packages of pads for $3.99 each, which equals $79.80. RA said I did not reach the $50 limit, so that means they did not count the BOGO pads as part of the deal. Dividing $79.80 in two gets me to $39.90, which is only $10.10 away from my $50 goal. Even if I have to spend that money out of pocket, I'll still make a profit when I qualify for the $25 gift card since I spent nothing OOP for the Stayfree. Now I just have to do some price matching of the qualifying items and see what would get me closest to $10.10. Ok, on to today's shopping:

Rite Aid - my cashier was super nice so I just did both transactions right after the other. She didn't even bat an eyelash.

Here's some FYI stuff for this deal: there is a $3 Huggies coupon but I could not get it to print for me. Maybe you'll have better luck. Also, I used a $2 Little Swimmers coupon that was really for skincare or suncare items, but it went through without a beep on the diapers. I had my $1.50 coupons for the diapers with me just in case.

Transaction One:
  • Huggies Mega Pack of Diapers $14.99, used $2 coupon (5/17 SS) = $12.99
  • Huggies Little Swimmers Diapers $6.99, used $2 coupon (5/17 SS) = $4.99
  • Crest Pro-Health Enamel Shield Toothpaste (4.2 oz) $2.69, used $1 coupon (P&G Year of Savings coupon booklet from previous rebate) and will get back $2.69 (SCR #146) = $1 profit
  • 2 Snickers candy bars $0.88 each, BOGO sale and used freebie coupon = FREE
  • Used $5 off $25 coupon, total was $14.79

Transaction Two:

  • Huggies Mega Pack of Diapers $14.99, used $2 coupon (5/17 SS) = $12.99
  • 2 Huggies Little Swimmers Diapers $6.99 each, used two $2 coupons (5/17 SS) = $9.98
  • Used $5 off $25 coupon, total was $17.97

Now here come the rebates. Hold on to your hats cause this is a wee-bit confusing:

  • $2 - SCR #53 WYB a Huggies Mega Pack of diapers (Limit 1)
  • $25 RA gift card - SCR #61 WYB $50 worth of participating Kimberly-Clark/Bayer/Schick/Unilever products (Limit 1). Includes Huggies Supreme or Huggies Snug and Dry diapers (34-60 count), Pull-Ups Training Pants (33 count), GoodNites Underpants (27 count), Little Swimmers swim diapers (10-12 pack), Huggies Wipes (184-232 count) and tons of other stuff. The whole list is here.
  • $2.25 Caregiver's Marketplace rebate for Little Swimmers diapers ($0.75 each)
  • Voucher for a pack of FREE Diapers - SCR #800 WYB 5 packages of Huggies Supreme (22-46 ct) or Huggies Snug & Dry (26-60 ct) diapers. I'm not really sure whether this rebate will clear or not since it doesn't list the Little Swimmers. Fingers crossed!

Now that your head is spinning, let's break this down. I paid $32.76 OOP for all this stuff, and I'm getting back $2.69 (Crest), $2, $2.25 and $25 in rebates, so that works out to a true cost of $0.82. And if you count in my $1 profit on the Crest, that's a profit of $0.18! What a steal!

CVS - thanks for the coupons dancinmama!
  • Gillette Fusion Manual or Power Razor $7.99, used $4 coupon (6/7 P&G) and got back $4 EB (Limit 1) = FREE/$0.01 profit
  • Used $0.99 EB and $2.99 EB, total was $0.29

A&P

  • 4 Old Orchard Healthy Balance juices $1.66 each, used four $0.50 coupons (5/10 SS) = $0.64 or $0.16 each
  • 2 California Pizza Kitchen pizzas $3 each, used two $1 coupons (5/17 SS) and got back $1 OYNO catalina = $3 or $1.50 each
  • Tortillas $3.29
  • Used $6 raincheck, total was $1.38
Look at the flavors on these! Apple Kiwi Strawberry, Pomegranate Cranberry, Apple Cranberry and Pomegranate Blueberry Acai Yum!

  • Used $1 EB, $2.97 EB and $10 EB, total was $0.98

I hadn't really planned on buying all these school supplies, other than the pens which I'll use. But my mom told me that they are doing a school supply drive at her office, so I'll give her the goodies to donate.

Fun in the Sun

CVS
  • 6 papers $1.50 each - they only had the SS's in them, no RP's :(
  • 2 PaperMate Grip pens $0.99 each, got back $1.98 EB ($0.99 each, Limit 3) = FREE
  • Used $10 EB, total was $1.04

On to some more Riley fun!

Riley really liked the taste of my DBF's fingers
He also loved pouncing on the water, digging in it, blowing bubbles and prancing around in the swimmy pool. By the time he was done, he was soaked. He loved this frisbee...
...until he tripped on it and wiped out. Oops!
Don't worry folks! He's allright. Puppies are very bendy.
And he's already forgotten what's happened because he's spotted someone interesting...
ROCKY!!!
How's you doin' Rocky? What are you sniffin? Huh? Huh? I can sniff it too!
Ooh! Maybe its time to get back in the pool!
Ahhh...delightful
MOM!!! She's messing with my swimmy pool!
ruff! (puppy barks are quiet)
ruff!
ruff!
Rocky has had enough. Did you know he can fly? Riley is apparently alarmed to learn this.
He does not like to be alarmed.
Oh dear, he really does not like to be alarmed! Watch out Rocky!
