At another store I bought three more Pilot highlighters, plus I tried to buy a $10 TGIF gift card using a $10 RR. Everything went through but then the register beeped and said I was owed a $9.18 refund. The cashier called over the manager, who said it was either because Walgreens' or TGIF's computer system wasn't working and couldn't activate the gift card. They took the gift card off the order and gave me $9.18 on a Walgreens gift card. Weird, but fine by me!

Ulta - went on the prowl for rebate forms for the Giovanni sham/cond. No luck there but I did see that PF makeup was BOGO. I did two transactions:

I used a gift card to pay for the OOP cost on each transaction. I normally wouldn't "pay" for shampoo or conditioner, but I have discovered that I really love John Frieda! Plus the profit from buying one Dulcolax covered the cost of all nine bottles of JF. I've cleaned out a great deal of my sham/cond stockpile lately because all of a sudden, my hair just doesn't like Garnier products anymore, and of course, that's what I had the most of. They make my hair so greasy! I've never had this problem with Garnier before, but it seems like every once and a while, my hair can't stand a brand of sham/cond anymore and I have to switch it up. Does that happen to anyone else?

Then I was left without enough items/total to use a $7 RR, so I went to use a gift card to pay (the line behind me had about doubled at this point). Of course, I forgot that the gift card had been used up already, so I quickly grabbed a ten out of my wallet, forked it over, grabbed my change and ran. haha
