Rebates Galore

Rite Aid

• 2 Old Spice Body Sprays $3.50 each, used BOGO coupon (P&G home mailer or can use coupons from 6/6 P&G - not quite the same coupon though) and got back $4 in +UP Rewards = $0.50 profit *This will count towards SCR #101 - spend $25 on P&G items, get back $5. The body wash I bought the other day isn't listed as being included, so I'm assuming it won't count. My rebates haven't gone through on the website yet
• Diet Coke Caffeine Free $1.69 - will get back $1.69 once I buy another bottle of regular Diet Coke (SCR #125)
• Used $4 +UP Rewards from previous transaction, total was $1.80

So here's what I know about the +UP Rewards Program:

• Limit one per transaction. If I'd bought 4 Old Spices, I'd only get back $4.
• They roll - I used rewards from OS to buy more OS, and still got the new reward.
• They aren't linked to any particular card. I used rewards from my wellness card on a transaction where I used my boyfriend's card - no problems.
• No fillers required. Like EB's, you can use the rewards just like cash. This means if you're buying three items and have three coupons, you can still use your rewards on the balance, without getting a fourth item (like you'd have to do at Walgreens).

*Any of this may change in the future. For now, its awesome! Did I miss anything?

Acme

• 2 Frigo String Cheeses (12 oz) $3.49 each, used two $1 coupons = $2.49 each
• 2 ICBINB Spreads (15-16 oz) $2.39 each
• Sargento Shredded Cheese $2.49
• Used $5 Acme catalina from previous deal, total was $12.25 and got back $5 catalina for buying 5 participating items = $7.25

I'll use this receipt to submit for a $5 Smirnoff NBPR rebate (WYB $5.01 worth of groceries, Exp. 6/30). There are lots of ways to make this deal a moneymaker, but I don't have the right coupons and my $5 cat was expiring in a couple days.

Separately:

• 2 Lays Chips $3 each - will use these towards another NBPR rebate from Newcastle ($10 rebate WYB $15 worth of salty snacks)
• Taters $3.38 ($0.99/lb), used $3 off produce WYB 2 Lays coupon (tearpad found in produce & chip aisle) = $0.38
• Used $5 catalina from transaction one, total was $1.38

UPDATE - I tried the +UP Rewards deal on Huggies that I mentioned yesterday and no rewards printed. I guess that particular deal isn't nationwide. Bummer. Rite Aid

• Aveeno Ageless Vitality $34.99, used $5 coupon (All You, May issue), $5 in-circular coupon and $5 off $20 coupon = $22.09

Thought this was going to be $39.99, so I'm a bit short of my $50 mark ($45.46) for rebates: $25 RA gift card (SCR #555) and $5 RA gift card (SCR #655). I'll buy two more Aveeno lotions this week. Once I do, I'll have spent $24.54 (I included the cost of the lotions in here - in reality, they almost came out to be free when I factor in the $5/$20 coupons used) and get back $20 rebate for the Aveeno and $30 in RA gift cards = $25.46 profit!

Bought another two OS body washes. FYI - these are with the razors, not body wash in the store. I'll see if they qualify for SCR #101. If not, I'll do the same deal with the deodorants instead. I should have enough coupons from the P&G home mailers and I think there are qualifying coupons in today's P&G. I order my coupons online, so I don't have them in front of me to double check.

Keep Your Eyes Peeled

Be on the lookout for these Biore cleansers, specifically the back of the bottles. If you're lucky, you might be able to find peelie coupons for a $15 prepaid card if you complete a survey online about the cleanser.

Rite Aid - big thanks to Wild for Wags (although I haven't been able to find any at WAG's) for the head's up on the Biore - what a great deal!

I also picked up two rainchecks for three Huggies at $8.99 each. Starting Sunday, RA is introducing a new program called +UP Rewards. Its kind of like CVS - RA money will print at the bottom of your receipt when you buy qualifying items. There's an +UP Rewards deal on Huggies through 6/12. When you buy three Huggies, you get back $11.99 in rewards. With the $8.99 raincheck price, they'll be FREE! Here's the math: three at $8.99 each, $5 off $20 coupon, three $3 coupons and three $1 RA coupon = $9.97 and get back $11.97 rewards = $2 profit. If the store won't allow me to use three VV coupons at once, I'll just use one and pay $11.97 - so FREE! The $8.99 price is only for this week and the +UP Rewards program doesn't go national until Sunday, so if you want to do this deal, be sure to get a raincheck for at least three. The stores I went to weren't wiped clean of Huggies, so I said that they were out of the size I needed and I didn't have any problems getting rainchecks.

CVS

I found a NBPR rebate on ebay today from Budweiser - spend $10 on a variety of summer items, including sunglasses and get back $8! Its a little expensive right now (the only auctions I saw were about $2.30 for one form) so I'm going to keep an eye on it and pounce at the right time. This will be great to use along with the sunglasses I bought at Rite Aid earlier this week!

CVS

• CVS brand Ultra Thin Jumbo Pack Diapers (34 pack) - clearanced to $2.37, got back $2 EB (Limit 1) = $0.37

EB's don't always print on clearanced items so this is a really great deal. The diapers were NOT marked as being clearanced, so you might want to scan them before going to the register. I almost prefer when the stores don't mark the items because there's usually more stock left. Hidden deals rock!

Target

• 6 Olay Toners $2.99 each, used six $1 coupons (5/16 SS) and got back a $5 Target gift card for every two that I bought = $1.01 profit for every two, $3.03 profit overall
• 6 Olay Regenerist facial cleansing wipes $5.99 each, used six $5 coupons (P&G home mailer) and got back a $5 Target gift card for every two that I bought = $3.02 profit for every two, $9.06 profit overall
• 4 Bounty Basic Paper Towels $0.99 each, used four $1 coupons (P&G home mailer) = FREE/$0.04 profit

The $5 coupons did not beep, thank goodness. These $1 coupons beeped, but my cashier didn't give me any trouble and pushed them all through. I had printed out a page from Olay's website where they classify toner as a cleanser just in case. I'll submit for this $12 rebate (DBF's address) for buying $30 of qualifying P&G items. I have enough coupons left to finish out another $12 rebate (parents' address) I started earlier this week. The store had tons of Olay in stock, so hopefully I'll finish this out tomorrow.

I hit up a couple stores to use almost all my coupons for Ecotrin (one left) and Kotex (four left). I pretty much just bought the two together and paid with gift cards. The Kotex coupon has reset, so be sure to print some more! I also returned the three extra Cortaid's I bought (thinking the rebate limit was two). I did each return at a different store and at each, I got $3 cash back.

I also looked for the individual Neutrogena bars at four different stores - nada. Maybe they'll get some more in soon. The deal is that you buy three bars ($2.69-$2.99) and get back $10 RR for a small profit. Its a monthly deal, so there's plenty of time to look for them.

SCR #800 (Valid 4/24 - 7/24) gives you a coupon for a free pack of Huggies diapers when you buy five packs of diapers, so I'm shooting for that. Its rumored that you get the coupon with only three or four packs of diapers. With all the deals this week, it hasn't been too hard to get up to $20, use a $5 off $20 coupon and have that cover the cost of the diapers. We'll see how I do.
